Fabric-eight is an innovative and professional multidisciplinary studio based in Launceston, Tasmania.
It is the new home of passionate, dedicated and award-winning designer Chris Blom, who, after holding senior positions with two of Tasmania's leading studios, realised that there was a niche in the market for a studio offering to help build meaningful connections between businesses and their clients, while focusing on sustainability, standards, accessibility and creative design solutions.
We'd love to work with you, so please get in touch.

Role: concept, logo design, print design
Overview: This independent store and promotions company sells clothing, DJ equipment and vinyl, as well as managing successful large-scale events. As their previous logo had referenced the "chilli" in the title, it was decided to step away from this and instead concentrate on the contemporary nature of the business. A turntable device was developed, which was literal enough to appeal to DJs, while still being appropriate for the overall brand for the other parts of the business.
